Being a dad of two nutty children and having a serious sweet tooth, I thought it was worth putting together my list of top 5 sweet treats to receive on Fathers Day, or any special day really.
But hey Fathers day is the perfect excuse to indulge in some sweet treats delivered.
1. Dipp'd Cookies
Was anything else going to be top of the list for the owner of Dipp'd Cookies? Well potentially doughnuts but this year it has to be the classic cookie box or the build a box of cookies. I'm partial to the Cinnamon roll and Biscoff cookie but the weekly specials are always tempting!
2. Make at Home Bubble Tea Kit
I'm in awe of this little box set and bubble tea is right up my street. Fruity flavours and those little bubbles that burst in your mouth are great on a Sunday morning before you start the day. I prefer the more sweet Taro flavour mixed with Lychee bubbles but there are so many options.
3. Gluten Free Brownies
I met this lovely couple from the Homemade Brownie company back at the Arnold Sports Fest a few years ago when I was selling doughnuts and these brownies are some of the nicest I have ever tasted, and you wouldn't even know they are Gluten Free. Definitely recommend buying these for any coeliac father, but to be fair like I said anyone can eat them.
4. Cupcakes
We have one of the nicest Cupcake makers on our doorstep called Crystals Cupcakes but unfortunately they aren't delivering across the UK yet so couldn't pop them into my online guide. The closest I could find are Candys Cupcakes in Manchester.
5. Mead
This is something I can highly recommend and the flavours are absolutely lovely. Mead is a cross between cider and beer but made from honey. You probably last heard it in Robin Hood or the Inbetweeners years ago but Mead is making a comeback and fits in for a father who likes a drink and has a sweet tooth. Try Hive Mind Mead.
